Who was Cheddar Man? Cheddar Man is from Gough's Cave in Cheddar Gorge, Somerset, England. Dating to about 8300 BC, the Mesolithic, he was called "the First Briton", as he is the oldest complete skeleton currently known from the era. He was a Western Hunter Gatherer or WHG. But what did he look like? And how do we know this?
